On Thursday, September 17th, Mr. Zelgai Sajad the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in New York, joined a Zoom Virtual Town Hall for Afghans in NYC

On Thursday, September 17th, Mr. Zelgai Sajad the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in New York, joined a Zoom Virtual Town Hall for Afghans in NYC which was organized by Consulate General of Afghanistan, NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs & Women for Afghan Women.

The consul general first spoke about importance of responding to the 2020 Census that contains specific resources to help communicate and how people can shape their future by responding to the census. In next part of his speech he highlighted important points about the consulate services to Afghans living in New York and other states, he also added that the consulate is working to make the consular service easier and speed up process of all consular services for Afghans living in United States.
